Harry Reid International Airport
Harry Reid International Airport (formally McCarran International Airport) is an international airport in Paradise, Nevada and is about 5 miles south of Downtown Las Vegas. Built in 1942 and opened to airline flights in 1948, it has expanded since then and has employed various innovative technologies, four runways, and two passenger terminals. The airport serves as a base for Allegiant Air, Frontier Airlines, Southwest Airlines, and Spirit Airlines and is the busiest airport in the United States.
